Chocolate Love Card

Make This Sweet & Sprinkle-Filled Chocolate Love Shaker Card! 🍫💕✨

If there’s one thing I love about Valentine’s Day (besides chocolate, of course!), it’s making super cute, extra-sweet handmade cards. And this one might just be my new favorite: the Chocolate Love Card—a delightful shaker card filled with charm, chocolatey goodness, and a whole lotta love!

This card is bursting with cozy vibes thanks to the adorable mug of hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and sprinkles, plus a couple of chocolate-covered strawberries (yes, with even more sprinkles!), and the word LOVE across the top. It’s the perfect combo of warm, sweet, and heartfelt—all wrapped up in one shaker card!

Materials Needed

  • Valentine’s Day Patterned Cardstock
  • White Cardstock
  • Red Cardstock
  • Chocolate Brown Cardstock
  • Yellow Cardstock
  • Pink Cardstock
  • Acetate
  • Cream Cardstock
  • Fake Sprinkles
  • Barely Arts Glue
  • Foam Strips
  • Puff Paint

Let’s Make Some Chocolatey Magic:

  1. Upload the SVG to your cutting software and size it to fit your card base.
  2. Cut out all the card pieces—mug, whipped cream, strawberries, and the word “LOVE”—using Valentine’s Day patterned paper and solid cardstock. I mixed in glitter paper too because…why not sparkle it up a little? ✨
  3. Assemble the mug scene, layering the whipped cream on top and tucking in those delicious-looking strawberries.
  4. Use foam tape to build your shaker frame behind the window area and fill it with sequins or faux sprinkles. Don’t overfill—just a little shake goes a long way!
  5. Seal it up with your acetate backing, attach everything to the card base, and finish it off with the “LOVE” title at the top.

I had so much fun making this card—Valentine’s Day patterned cardstock really made everything pop and gave it that festive flair. Plus, who can resist a shaker card? They’re like interactive hugs in paper form! 💖

This project is a great one to give to your sweetie, your bestie, or anyone who needs a little extra love (and chocolate) this Valentine’s Day.

So grab your paper stash, your Cricut, and your shaker supplies—because love is in the air, and it’s covered in whipped cream and sprinkles! 🍓🍫💘
