The Christmas Candle Lantern cut files are easy to use with your Cricut or cutting machine.

That’s why I absolutely loved designing this Christmas Candle Lantern! It’s a beautiful way to add a handmade touch to your holiday decor, and it’s so much fun to make. Whether you’re placing it on your holiday table, your mantle, or even by the entryway, this lantern brings cozy vibes with a crafty twist.

  • Red Cardstock
  • Dark Red Cardstock
  • Gold Glitter Cardstock
  • Foil Cardstock

  • Braiding (optional)

Dress It Up with Details

This lantern looks lovely on its own, but you know me—I love adding a little extra flair! You can:

  • Choose papers that match your theme—think gold, red, green, or even wintery blues and silvers
  • Wrap some pretty braiding or ribbon around the base for a festive finish
  • Add gemstones or pearls to the panels for a bit of holiday sparkle

Light It Up!

I use a flameless candle on a timer inside mine so it lights up like clockwork every evening—no need to remember to turn it on and off! It’s the perfect touch for a holiday dinner centerpiece or a glowing addition to your mantle.

Crafty Ideas:

  • Make a single lantern as a table centerpiece for your Christmas meals
  • Or make a set of lanterns for your fireplace mantle—each one glowing with a soft candlelight
  • Tie a tag or name on it and use it as a unique place card for guests at your table!

The best part? It’s easy to make using your cutting machine and some cardstock. This is such a fun project to get into the holiday spirit—and it makes a lovely gift, too!

So pour a mug of cocoa, put on your favorite holiday music, and let’s make something beautiful this season. I hope you’ll love adding this Christmas Candle Lantern to your home as much as I did! 🎁🕯️🎅

Happy Crafting!
