If you like to have bling on your holiday shirts, try using holographic or glitter HTV.

You can also use these conversation hearts to make a mug, tumbler, tote bag or even a card using HTV. I love to make a variety of crafts for Valentine’s Day using my Cricut.

  • conversation hearts svg prepare screen mirrored
  • Now if everything looks correct on it, click on the continue button
The next screen will be where you will select the type of card stock you are using. If you do not see the material in your material favorites, click on "browse all materials" to find the weight of cardstock that you are using. For example the pink HTV, I used was every day iron on, you will need to select "Every Day Iron On".
Once you have Design Space set, you are now ready to prepare your mat. I used a brayer when placing the Cardstock on the mat, this helps in making sure that the paper is adhered to the mat and will help in keeping the paper from ripping or moving when it is being cut.

Assembling the Conversation Hearts SVG

  • After weeding the words and cutting each word out separately and weeding the hearts and shadows
  • And before ironing-on the design go to the heat guide on the Cricut website to see what settings you should be using.
  • Place the Cricut Easy Press Mat underneath the item you are ironing the design on
  • After figuring out where you want to place the hearts
  • Take the first hearts shadow piece
  • using your Easy Press with the tempurature and time set place the shadow on your blank and iron it on
  • then turn over and iron from the back side of the blank
  • once cool peel the overlay sheet off of the shadow piece
  • Next take the heart piece
  • align it up as close as possible to the shadow without overlaying it on the shadow
  • using a piece of teflon iron the heart on to the blank
  • then turn over and iron from the back side of the blank
  • once cool peel the overlay sheet off of the heart piece
  • next take the word for the heart and place it on top of the heart
  • using a piece of teflon between the HTV and the easy press iron the wording on to the heart
  • then turn over and iron from the back side of the blank
  • once cool peel the overlay sheet off of the wording
