DIY Spring Floral Arrangement
Spring is the perfect time to freshen up your home with color, texture, and a touch of whimsy. And let’s be honest—there’s nothing better than stumbling on a great craft sale at Michael’s! I recently lucked out with some beautiful spring faux flowers on sale, and I couldn’t wait to turn them into a cheerful little arrangement. Add in a bit of deco mesh, some fake grass, and a cute bunny I couldn’t resist, and this spring project came together like magic!

If you’re looking for a fun and easy way to bring some seasonal joy to your home, this DIY spring floral arrangement is for you.
Materials Needed
Create Your Floral Foam Base
Start by hot gluing two pieces of floral foam end to end to make one long base. This will be the foundation of your arrangement.
Prep the Deco Mesh
I originally started cutting the mesh into 12-inch strips but found that 6-inch strips worked much better. Cut a bunch of them and start adding them to the sides and ends of the foam. Scrunch or roll them for extra texture! I found the deco mesh I used on Amazon, it was a spring color set.
Add Your Flowers
Time to bring in the color! Poke your faux flowers directly into the foam, spacing them out and mixing the colors for a fresh, springy vibe. I used a beautiful mix of pink, purple, blue, yellow, peach, and white blossoms. Make sure to leave the center of the arrangement empty—that’s where the bunny will go later!
Build the Bunny Base
Grab a square piece of floral foam (I got mine at Dollar Tree) and cut it in half to reduce the height using a styrofoam cutter or sharp knife. Hot glue some fake grass onto it, then glue it securely to the center of your main floral foam base.
Step 5: Finish Filling In
Add more deco mesh and flowers around the new center piece until your arrangement looks full and balanced. The mesh really helps fill in any gaps and adds a fun, airy feel.
Add the Bunny
Now for the star of the show—your bunny! I used a fuzzy green bunny and gave it a whimsical makeover with white and pink pompoms for a nose, plus eyes and eyelashes. Nestle your little friend right into the grassy center of the arrangement. It immediately brings the whole piece to life!
Step back and give your arrangement a once-over. Fill in any bare spots with a bit more deco mesh or a few extra blooms. Fluff, adjust, and enjoy your beautiful creation!
This spring floral arrangement was such a joy to make. It’s bright, cheerful, and full of character—especially with that adorable bunny front and center. The best part? It was made with sale finds and some dollar store goodies, proving that a little creativity goes a long way.
Happy spring crafting! 🌷🐰💐
