Fireworks Shirt
The 4th of July is coming up and I wanted to create a Fireworks Shirt to wear for the holiday. Do you like to wear holiday shirts?
I have always loved watching fireworks, whether it is for the 4th of July or we are at a baseball game and they are having fireworks night. I love all the colors that you can make fireworks out of, the possibilities are endless.
The fireworks shirt would also make a great shirt to ring in the new year, using gold and silver HTV to create this sparktacular shirt.
You can resize the fireworks to add as many as you like to your shirt. For the small fireworks I resized mine to 5.022″ x 5.244″. I wouldn’t go smaller than this or it may be hard weeding the small circles and stars and you may loose some of the smaller circles.

I created two fireworks shirts, the first one was done with a sparkle iron-on vinyl that had shades of pink and purple.
The fireworks shirt design reminds you of the circle and star gems that you can put on clothes to make them look sparkly when using holographic iron-on vinyl.
Materials Needed
The second fireworks shirt I created I used a different sparkle iron-on vinyl that had red, blue and yellow.
You can also use this design to create your own sign for the 4th of July to hang on your door.

Ironing on the Fireworks Shirt
- Lay the shirt out on your ironing mat with the easy press mat underneath the shirt.
- Check Cricuts heat guide on their website to see what settings you need to use for the type of vinyl, material and machine you are using to do the ironing on.
- Starting with the smaller fireworks that go on the shoulders
- lay one of them on the shirt on either shoulder, I placed it a little sideways
- once you have it where you want it use your easy press to iron it on
- Peel the transfer sheet off of the vinyl once it has cooled
- Do the same with the other small fireworks piece
- I used a ruler to make sure that the two small fireworks were placed about the same place before ironing the second one on
- Then take the large fireworks piece
- place it on the front of the shirt, using your ruler for ironing on vinyl place the fireworks below the ruler and center it on the shirt
- remove the ruler and then iron on the large fireworks
- Peel the transfer sheet off of the vinyl once it has cooled
- Now your shirt is complete.
Don’t Forget to check the Cricut Heat Guide for ironing on the HTV and using your Easy Press.
