I designed this card with a fishing pole and fish overlay on the front, and the insert piece shows through the fish scales—which gives it such a cool dimensional look. Whether you’re new to Cricut or have been crafting for years, this one is super easy to put together.

Supplies You’ll Need:

• My Fish Insert Card SVG Design #76
• Cricut Maker or Cricut Explore
• Cardstock for the card base
• Patterned or solid card stock for the insert (get creative with the fish scales!)
• Cricut mat and blade
• Weeding tool (optional)

Let’s Make the Fish Insert Card!

1. Upload the SVG to Cricut Design Space.
2. Cut your base and insert pieces.
   • I recommend using solid or lightly patterned card stock for the base so the fish overlay shows up nicely.
   • For the insert, choose a fun pattern or a metallic card stock to make those fish scales pop!
3. Slide the insert into the slits on the card.
4. Add your own message inside!

That’s it! A handmade card in just a few minutes—perfect for dads, grandpas, uncles, or anyone who loves fishing.
