Gnome Heart Candle

Create this easy to make Gnome Heart Candle

Holiday candles are one of my favorite things to decorate with. Although I don’t use real candles to decorate with, instead I use flameless candles with timers.

Flameless candles are safe as you don’t have to worry about them being knocked over and starting a fire. The ones with timers you can usually set them and forget them for a month or two.

After creating my Valentine Gnome Card, I decided to use the gnome and create a flameless candle. I will show you how to resize the gnome to add it and the hearts to the candle.

Some places you rent do not allow real candles, flameless candles are a great substitute and you can customize them to fit your decor by adding vinyl designs.

  • then select the heart and duplicate it
  • You can change the hearts to make the different colors by selecting the heart and clicking on a new color
  • I duplicated the heart several times and changed the colors of them
  • Next select the gnome and resize him to fit the candle you are using

  • Next you will click on "Make It" and the prepare mat screen will appear.
  • Being we are not using iron-on vinyl you do not need to mirror anything.

Now if everything looks correct on it, click on the continue button

  • The next screen will be where you will select the type of vinyl you are using. If you do not see the material in your material favorites, click on "browse all materials" to find the type of vinyl that you are using.
Once you have Design Space set, you are now ready to prepare your mat. I used a brayer when placing the vinyl on the mat, this helps in making sure that the vinyl is adhered to the mat and will help in keeping the vinyl from moving when it is being cut.

Assembling the Gnome Heart Candle

  • Starting with the gnome body
  • Using transfer tape and a scraper put the gnome body onto the candle
  • ****note before doing this you can add the hands to the back of the body of the gnome before you put it on the candle
  • put gnome body on candle. I used the hat and body to figure out where I wanted them on the candle.
  • gnome heart candle gnome body being added to candle
