Halloween Layered Ghosts
Create These Easy to Make Layered Ghosts.
Halloween is almost here and it wouldn’t be the same without some ghosts. I have created two layered ghosts for you to create.
The first ghost is the Boo Ghost. She is a cute ghost that has the word “Boo” cut out of the top layer. She measures approximately 10 inches.
The second ghost is the Web Ghost. She has a spider web cut out of two of the layers. She measures approximately 9 inches.

- 1 Sheet of Light Blue Cardstock
- 1 Sheet of Medium Blue Cardstock

- 1 Sheet of Light Green Cardstock

Instructions
Step 1. Cutting Out the Boo Ghost
- Upload the white pieces.
- Select all and ungroup.
- Next select everything except the hands.
- Then attach.
- Change the eyebrows and mouth from basic cut to pen.
- Check to make sure the size is correct. Now you are ready to click on "Make It" and cut out the pattern. Save the center's out of the letters "BOO".
- The next screen that will appear is the "Prepare" screen, if everything looks correct on it, click on the continue button
- The next screen will be where you will select the type of card stock you are using. If you do not see the material in your material favorites, click on "browse all materials" to find the weight of cardstock that you are using. For example the Cerulean Blue Cardstock I used is medium weight, I would type in the browse all materials "Medium Weight".
- Once you have Design Space set, you are now ready to prepare your mat. I used a brayer when placing the Cardstock on the mat, this helps in making sure that the paper is adhered to the mat and will help in keeping the paper from ripping or moving when it is being cut.
- Next upload the black eyes. Check to make sure the size is correct.
- Upload the hat. Check to make sure the size is correct.
- Upload the hat band. Check to make sure the size is correct.
- Upload the light blue ghost. Check to make sure the size is correct.
- Next upload the medium blue ghost. Check to make sure the size is correct.
Step 2. Assembling the Boo Ghost
- Starting with the Medium Blue Ghost, place it on your work area.
- Using foam glue squares or dots, place them around on top of the bottom layer.
- Take the light blue layer and center it on top of the medium blue layer.
- Glue the blue circle in the center of the black eyes.
- Glue the black eyes underneath the eyebrows on the white ghost piece.
- I colored in the eyebrows and mouth on this ghost using a Cricut pen.
- Next take the hat pieces.
- Glue the hat band on to the hat.
- Put foam glue squares of dots on the light blue layer, make sure to watch where you put the foam squares as to not have them show through the white layer you are going to put on top.
- Next add the white ghost layer, center it on top of the light blue layer.
- Once you have added the white ghost layer, using foam glue dots place them in the cut outs for the letters as seen below.
- Then add the centers of the "O's" and "B" to the word BOO.
- Now you are ready to add the hands.
- Using foam glue dots, add one dot on each hand and place them on the ghost.
- Now your ghost is ready for her hat. Using glue, put some glue at the top of the ghost head and glue the hat on.
- Using liquid pearls – sunflower color, put a dot in the center of each eye.
- Using liquid pearls – white color, put a dot in the center of the dot for the exclamation point.
- Now your ghost is ready to display.
