As Halloween approaches I wanted to create a wreath for my kitchen. I love to decorate all of the rooms in our home for the various holidays and seasons.
This easy to make Halloween Wreath is a fun project to create, it will make a cute addition to your Halloween decor. I used some glitter card stock to give it a sparkly look.
Wreaths are a fun way to spruce up your kitchen cupboards for the holidays.

Cutting Out the Halloween Wreath
Unzip the download file.
Then open up Design Space and start a new project.
Click Upload and find where you saved the unzipped version of the downloaded files for this project.
Then go into the SVG Folder and select the SVG Files
Select all and adjust to the size you would like to make
note: make sure the lock is closed and not open when resizing
Then click on the Make It button
The prepare screen will appear
Now if everything looks correct on it, click on the continue button
The next screen will be where you will select the type of card stock you are using. If you do not see the material in your material favorites, click on "browse all materials" to find the weight of cardstock that you are using. For example the purple Cardstock I used is medium weight, you will need to select "Medium Weight"..
Once you have Design Space set, you are now ready to prepare your mat. I used a brayer when placing the Cardstock on the mat, this helps in making sure that the paper is adhered to the mat and will help in keeping the paper from ripping or moving when it is being cut.
Assembling the Halloween Wreath
Starting with the black wreath piece
and the yellow wreath pieces
put double sided tape on the back of the yellow piece and then place it in the center of the black wreath piece
set the wreath aside
next take the various pieces for the wreath and separate them
you will have two pieces for the witch hat
put glue on the back of the purple glitter hat piece and glue it to the black glitter hat piece
****save the spider for later
next take the candy pieces
you will have two sets of these
make sure that you have the pieces going the right direction when you glue them together as the two ends are a little different
put glue on the back of the orange piece and glue it to the purple piece
then put glue on the back of the blue glitter piece and glue it the orange piece
do the same for the other piece of candy
next take the candy corn pieces
put glue on the back of the yellow glitter candy corn piece and glue it to the white glitter candy corn piece aligning it up at the bottom
then put glue on the back of the orange piece and glue it to the yellow glitter piece aligning it up at the bottom
do the same for the other candy corn piece
next take the pumpkin pieces
put glue on the back of the orange pumpkin and glue it to the black glitter pumpkin
do the same for the other pumpkin
next take the bat pieces
put glue on the back of the gray outline of the bat and glue it to the black glitter bat piece
next take the leaves pieces
put glue on the individual green leaf pieces and glue them to the purple sprig where it shows the leaves
do the same for the other two leaf sprig pieces
now you are ready to assemble your wreath
put the main wreath piece in front of you and start adding the orange and purple sprigs
and the purple leaf sprigs unti you have them where you want them then add the other pieces of the wreath on top until it looks the way you want it to
then take the pieces off and start gluing the sprigs on once you have them where you want them put foam dots on the back of the bat, pumpkins, candy corn, candy, and witch hat and place them on your wreath
next take the spider and put glue on the top of his spider web piece and glue it underneath the witch hat at the top of the hat (see photo below)
next take the hanger pieces
put glue on the back of the one hanger piece and glue it to the other
do this for the other hanger piece
**** make sure you have the hanger pieces all going the same direction
next glue the hanger to the top of the wreath
