Learn to Hide Pieces of an SVG Cut File
In this Cricut Tutorial I will show you how you can hide part of an SVG file that has multiple pieces of the same color, that you may not want to cut out.
For instance if you are cutting out SVG file that has multiple pieces of the same color and one of the pieces got messed up when you did cut them out, then you can just cut out the piece you want.
In my Mini Tropical Set I had put the palm tree trunks and the wreath front together. If you do not want to make a wreath you can first upload the SVG file in design space. Then insert the file into design space.

Then select the circle (wreath) and click on the eye icon to the right of where it says “Basic Cut”, it will put a line through the eye icon and the circle will disappear off of the screen.
Next click on the “Make It” button.
Now you are able to cut out just the trunks of the palm trees.
Next click continue and select the paper type you are using. Then place the paper on the mat and load it into your machine to cut out the palm tree trunks.
