Mini Watermelon Slices
Create These Fun Mini Watermelon Slices
This fun mini watermelon slices SVG cut file is easy to create and will make a great addition to your summer decor.

I love the fake food you see that you can either buy or create yourself. I thought it would be neat to make some mini watermelon slices. You can add these to your summer decor, if you have a three tiered display that you use in your kitchen area you can add these to it.
I have included several sayings you can add to the bottom of your mini watermelons or create your own.

Instructions
- Step 1. Cutting Out the Mini WatermelonsFirst upload the mini watermelon pieces 1. Check to make sure the size is correct.
- Select all and ungroup.
- Next select the dotted lines
- and change them from basic cut to score lines
- Then select the score lines and the main red piece
- Next click on the make it button
- Next you will see the prepare screen
- Once you have selected your paper size you can click on the continue button
The next screen will be where you will select the type of card stock you are using. If you do not see the material in your material favorites, click on "browse all materials" to find the weight of cardstock that you are using. For example the green Cardstock I used is medium weight, you will need to select "Medium Weight"..
Once you have Design Space set, you are now ready to prepare your mat. I used a brayer when placing the Cardstock on the mat, this helps in making sure that the paper is adhered to the mat and will help in keeping the paper from ripping or moving when it is being cut.- Next upload the mini watermelon slices pieces 2. Check to make sure the size is correct.
- select all and click on ungroup
- Next select to the dotted lines
- and change them to score lines
- Then select the score lines and the green bottom piece of the watermelon slice
- Now you are ready to click on make it and the prepare screen will appear
- select the mat size and click on continue and do the same as above with selecting the paper weight.
- Next upload the wording into design space
- select all and ungroup
- Next select each set of words and weld them together
- now you are ready to click on the make it button
- the prepare screen will appear
- I spaced the wording out some so it would be easier to separate for each watermelon slice you are creating.
- You do not need to mirror the wording if you are using regular vinyl and not HTV.
- Click on the continue button and select the type of vinyl you are using
- Step 2. Assembling Your Watermelon WedgeFirst taking the Front piece of the slice and the bottom, glue them together.
- Next take the back piece
- and fold the back piece on the score lines
- then glue the top tab to the other side
- Next glue the green bottom piece to the back piece
- Next fold the tabs on the back piece down
- put glue on the tabs and glue the front piece to them
- Now that your mini watermelon slice is together, put it aside and work on your panels
- Starting with the red panels
- put glue on the larger panels on the back
- glue the matching black panel to the red panel
- do this for all of the red and black panels
- next take the green and white pieces
- glue the green pieces to the white pieces
- Next glue the red panels to the watermelon slice
- then glue the rhine pieces to the red panels
- Using transfer tape take the wording
- and put transfer tape on the top of it so that you can put it on the bottom green panel
- put the wording on the green bottom panel and remove the transfer tape
- your mini watermelon slices should look like the photo below
