Snowy Deer Card
Make a Snowy Deer Card with Your Cricut – A Peaceful Winter Scene in Layers
There’s something magical about a fresh snowfall—when the world is quiet, the trees are dusted in white, and a deer wanders softly through the woods. That peaceful feeling is exactly what I had in mind when I designed the Snowy Deer Card.

This layered card captures that wintry moment beautifully. A deer stands calmly in the snow, framed by a forest of trees, while snowflakes gently fall in the night sky. With just a few pieces of card stock and your Cricut, you can create this serene scene and send a little winter wonder to someone you care about.
Whether you use it as a holiday card, a winter birthday greeting, or a thoughtful “just because” card, this design is sure to bring a smile. And let’s be honest—homemade cards are always the best kind of gift. They’re made with love, and they show that you took the time to create something truly special.
Let’s Get Crafty!
This card is all about layers—and trust me, it’s worth it for the final effect. The design starts with a night sky background, then layers of trees, snow, and finally the graceful deer. Each layer builds depth and draws the eye in, like you’re peeking into a peaceful winter forest.
Cut the pieces with your Cricut, then layer and glue them together, starting from the back and working your way forward. You can keep it flat or add foam tape between the layers for that extra pop.
Once it’s assembled, you’ve got a snowy woodland scene that feels both elegant and heartwarming. All that’s left is to add a personal message inside and send it off to someone special!
Why I Love This Project
Cards like this remind me why I love paper crafting so much. You can take something as simple as cardstock and turn it into a piece of art. And during the winter months, a handmade card can be the perfect way to warm someone’s heart—even when the world outside is frosty.
If you make the Snowy Deer Card, I’d love to see how it turns out! Tag me or share your version—crafting is always more fun when we share it with others.
Stay warm, stay crafty, and happy card making!
