🎆 Create This Easy-to-Make Sparkler Gnome Card

With summer approaching and patriotic celebrations right around the corner, I wanted to share one of my favorite new projects — the Sparkler Gnome Card! It’s the perfect combination of red, white, blue, and gnome cuteness. This card is super simple to make using my SVG file and your Cricut.

🧰 What You’ll Need:

• My Sparkler Gnome Card SVG Design #74 in our free library
• Cricut machine
• Cardstock in red, white, blue, and metallic/sparkle colors, Barely Pink
• Optional: patterned patriotic card stock for the card piece
• Barely Arts Glue
• Foam Dots
• Optional: glitter cardstock for the sparklers
• Cricut mat and tools

🖥 Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Upload the SVG to Design Space

Open up Cricut Design Space and upload the Sparkler Gnome Card SVG. This design comes with everything you need to make the base of the card, the gnome, and of course — the sparkly sparklers!

2. Choose Your Cardstock

This card is especially cute when made with sparkly or glitter card stock for the sparklers. I used red, blue, and white cardstock for the gnome’s outfit, and a fun glittery silver for the sparklers.

✨ Crafty tip: Don’t be afraid to mix and match textures—glitter, foil, and flat cardstock all look great together!

3. Cut All the Pieces

Use your Cricut to cut out all the layers. A LightGrip mat works well for card stock, and make sure your blade is nice and sharp for those small sparkler details.

4. Assemble the Card

Once everything’s cut, layer the pieces and glue them together. I like using foam dots to give the gnome a little extra dimension. Add the sparklers to his hands, and you’ve got a festive friend ready to party!
