Star of David Shaker Card
Celebrate the Season with a Sparkly Star of David Shaker Card for Hanukkah ✡️✨
Looking to make some festive cards for Hanukkah this year? If you’re like me and love adding a bit of handmade sparkle to your holiday greetings, then you’re going to enjoy this project! Since I’ve been on a bit of a shaker card kick lately (because who doesn’t love a card that’s also a tiny party?), I knew I had to design one especially for Hanukkah.

Introducing the Star of David Shaker Card—a beautiful and easy-to-make card that’s perfect for sharing some handmade Hanukkah cheer.

Shiny and Customizable!
This card is super simple to assemble with your cutting machine, and you can customize the colors and shaker bits to fit your style. I originally planned to use Hanukkah-themed sequins, but I couldn’t find any small enough to fit the design… so I got crafty and made my own using Cricut Party Foil! (Yes, we’re talking DIY confetti now—this is next-level crafting, friends.)
You can cut tiny stars, dreidels, or circles out of foil or metallic card stock for a one-of-a-kind shaker filler. It turned out so sparkly and festive!

Why I Love This Card
There’s something extra special about sending a handmade card—especially one that shakes, shimmers, and shines. This one is perfect for family, friends, or anyone celebrating the Festival of Lights. You can also personalize the message inside, whether it’s heartfelt, humorous, or traditional.
Tips for a Festive Shaker:
- Use acetate or clear plastic for the window layer
- Add foam tape for that perfect shaker depth
- Try metallic or patterned paper in blues, silvers, and golds for that classic Hanukkah look
- Don’t forget a cute envelope to match!
Homemade cards are such a meaningful way to celebrate the season, and this Star of David Shaker Card brings just the right mix of sparkle and sentiment. I hope it inspires you to get crafting and share some handmade joy this Hanukkah! 💙🕎
Happy Crafting!
