How to Make the Statue of Liberty Gnome
🖥 Step 1: Upload the SVG to Cricut Design Space
Start by uploading the Statue of Liberty Gnome SVG into Design Space. You can resize her to fit your project—mine is 8″ wide by 9.008″ high.
✂️ Step 2: Choose and Load Your Cardstock
I used a variety of grey shades to give her dimension and depth, and added gold holographic cardstock for her crown and torch flame to give that celebratory sparkle.
💡 Crafty tip: You can change up the colors to match your own patriotic palette or party theme!
🧩 Step 3: Cut All Layers
Using your Cricut, cut out each layer of the design. I recommend using a LightGrip mat for card stock and checking your blade before you start to get clean, crisp cuts.
🧷 Step 4: Assemble Your Gnome
Layer your pieces from back to front. I used glue to keep everything flat, and some foam dots between layers to give it a little more 3D effect.
🎉 Step 5: Display and Enjoy
Your gnome is ready to stand tall and proud as part of your 4th of July display! Prop her up on a shelf, frame her in a shadow box, or even attach her to a party sign.
