I used a couple of different shades of pink and red for this card. The hearts that were cut out of the hat I used on the outside of the card to add more to the design. You could also use them on the inside of the card around any writing you would like to add. I’ve included two inside panels in the file for you to cut out for the card.

Materials Needed

  • White Cardstock
  • Barely Pink Cardstock
  • Medium Pink Cardstock
  • Red Cardstock
  • Dark Red Cardstock
  • Black Cardstock
  • Foam Dots
  • Barely Arts Glue
  • Cricut Pen

Step 1: Upload SVG Into Design Space

Start by opening Cricut Design Space. Upload the gnome card SVG file.

Pro tip: Add a cute sentiment like “I’m Gnome Yours” or “You’ve Gnome My Heart” to make your card extra special.

Cut the Cardstock

Place your cardstock on the cutting mat, ensuring it’s properly adhered to avoid shifting during cutting. Follow the prompts in Cricut Design Space to cut each layer of your gnome design. Be sure to use the appropriate material settings for cardstock.

Tip: Use a scraper tool to gently lift intricate pieces from the mat.

Assemble the Gnome

Now comes the fun part! Begin assembling your gnome by layering the cut pieces. Starting with the gnome body and beard, put glue on the back of the beard and glue it on the body.
