Materials Needed
For the backing of the shaker window, I used a blue cardstock with various blended shades, giving it a rich, dimensional look. You could also use a patterned 4th of July card stock—like the ones I found at Michael’s—to give your card even more festive flair. The mix of colors and textures really helps the shaker elements pop!
Why I Love Homemade Cards:
There’s something special about giving a handmade card—it’s personal, customizable, and a joy to create. Whether you’re crafting for a holiday or just because, making a card like this allows you to show off your creativity and share a bit of sparkle with someone you care about.
