A Little Luck and a Lot of Green

I played with a few different shades of green cardstock to give this gnome some depth and charm. Layering those tones makes him pop right off the card! The gnome’s hat, beard, shamrock, and background all come together in such a playful way, and you can really get creative with your color choices.

Why You’ll Love This Project:

  • It’s easy to cut and assemble with your Cricut.
  • It makes the perfect homemade St. Patrick’s Day card.
  • You can customize the wording inside using Cricut pens or by writing your own note.
  • It’s a fun way to use up those green card stock scraps (yes, I hoard them too!).

What You’ll Need:

  • My Shamrock Gnome Card SVG – Design #53
  • Cricut Maker or another Cricut machine
  • Various shades of green cardstock
  • Card base card stock (I used white for a clean background)
  • Adhesive or glue
  • Cricut pens (if you want to add text inside)

Let’s Get Crafting!

  1. Upload the SVG to Cricut Design Space.
  2. Customize your card by adding a message inside if you’d like.
  3. Cut your layers – sort your green card stock and cut all the gnome pieces, shamrocks, and card base.
  4. Assemble the gnome and glue him onto the card front. I love how the layered shamrocks make the design feel full and festive.
  5. Add your sentiment inside the card—something lucky, funny, or heartfelt!

A Card Worth Sending

There’s something so special about sending a handmade card, and this Shamrock Gnome is sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face. Whether you mail it off or hand-deliver it with a hug (and maybe a cookie), it’s a fun and festive way to spread some St. Patrick’s Day cheer.

So grab your Cricut and your green paper stash—this Shamrock Gnome Card is calling your name!

🍀 Happy crafting—and may your gnome bring you all the luck! 🍀
