Whether you’re a Cricut newbie or a seasoned paper crafter, insert cards are a great go-to project. They’re fast, they’re fun, and they look like you spent way more time on them than you actually did. (Crafty magic, right?)
This particular card features a shamrock design cut out from the front of the card. Tuck a piece of green glitter card stock behind it, and voilà—you’ve got sparkling shamrocks that practically dance in the light! 🍀✨ It’s such a satisfying way to add a pop of sparkle without any glue or mess.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- My Shamrock Insert Card SVG – Design #54 (designed just for this project!)
- Cricut Maker or other Cricut machine
- Cardstock for the card base
- Green glitter cardstock for the insert
- Cricut mat and tools
- Optional: Cricut pens if you want to add a custom message inside
Let’s Make It!
- Upload the SVG to Cricut Design Space.
- Customize it if you’d like—this is your card! You can add text inside the card before cutting it out. Use the “Draw” function and a Cricut pen to write your own greeting.
- Cut the card on your Cricut. I recommend using a medium to heavyweight cardstock for the base so the card stands nicely.
- Slide the insert into the corner slits of the card. No glue needed—just tuck it in and you’re done!
Boom! You just made a festive and fabulous card in minutes.
